QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer – Fresher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing, Python programming, and a strong interest in automation testing. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate to learn and work on web and mobile application testing, including Android and iOS automation using Appium.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Learn and perform automation testing using Python and PyTest.
• Develop and maintain basic mobile automation scripts for Android and iOS using Appium.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and QA team members to understand and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning.
• Assist in improving automation test coverage and test frameworks.
• Perform basic API testing and validate application functionality.
• Follow software testing processes and contribute to delivering high-quality releases.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Familiarity with PyTest or any Python-based testing framework.
• Basic understanding of manual and automation testing.
• Basic understanding of Android and iOS applications.
• Knowledge or academic/project-level exposure to Appium is preferred.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Academic or project experience in Python-based automation testing.
• Basic knowledge of Appium and mobile automation.
• Basic understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of any bug-tracking or test management tool.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Internship, academic project, or training experience in QA/testing will be an added advantage.
