  • Write, manage, and execute functional, integration, API, and user acceptance testing plans

  • Develop test case plans based on business and functional/technical requirements

  • Conduct exploratory and targeted manual testing to identify and document issues

  • Participate in sprint planning and requirements review meetings

  • Identify, document, and track bug tickets in JIRA

  • Communicate with internal teams including developers and product managers to align on system requirements

  • Support non-technical team members with researching and resolving technical issues

  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues in collaboration with engineering and operations teams

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Abilities / Experience

  • Familiarity with Cypress best practices including custom commands, fixtures, and intercepts

  • 1–3 years of work experience in software development and testing

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, efficient testing strategies, and modern best practices

  • Hands-on experience designing and executing functional, GUI, and API tests

  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge

  • Working knowledge of testing tools including Chrome DevTools, Postman, and TestRail

Additional Requirements

  • Experience writing and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test reports

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and branching strategies

  • Understanding of RESTful API concepts and ability to test APIs using tools like Postman or similar

  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA or equivalent

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing

  • Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter) is a plus

  • Experience working with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus

  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker for local test environment setup is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
