QA Engineer

Job Summary

Overview Role purpose: Execute hands-on functional and integration testing across enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria; identify gaps and risks.

• Create and execute functional, integration, regression and exploratory tests.

• Prepare test data and validate end-to-end business processes across applications.

• Log defects with reproducible evidence and complete retesting through closure.

• Support UAT planning, execution tracking and issue triage.

• Maintain regression packs and collaborate with engineers on automation candidates.

• Contribute to sprint ceremonies, quality reporting and release readiness.

• Deliver reliable in-sprint testing, defect retesting and regression execution.

• Create maintainable test cases, test data and release evidence.

• Support UAT preparation and business validation without transferring QA accountability to business users.

• Identify repeatable scenarios for automation.

  Required experience and skills

• 4-6+ years in software QA or quality engineering.

• Strong hands-on functional, integration and regression testing experience.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery and Azure DevOps, Jira or comparable tooling.

• Ability to test APIs using Postman or similar tools.

• Working SQL capability for data validation and troubleshooting.

• Strong documentation, analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

  Preferred qualifications

• Dynamics 365, Power Platform or enterprise CRM testing experience for AMP/ACE assignments.

• Experience supporting complex insurance, sales, billing, commission or policy workflows.

• ACCELQ or comparable automation exposure.

• Experience with data migration, security-role or persona testing.
