QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented IT QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, test case creation, defect tracking, and working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Reproduce, analyze, and validate reported issues.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports, and testing checklists.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA inputs from a testing perspective.
• Ensure applications meet quality, performance, usability, and functional requirements.
• Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
• Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of bug life cycle and defect management.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman is preferred.
• Basic understanding of SQL/database testing is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of API and database testing.

Pay: ₹13,832.50 - ₹40,948.38 per month
