QA Engineer

Position: QA Engineer
Location: Perai, Penang
Salary: RM3,700 – RM5,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Quality Manager in quality assurance and quality management system activities.
• Translate and maintain quality management system documents for existing and new products.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections.
• Monitor manufacturing quality and report defects or rejects for corrective action.
• Support rework activities and track wastage data for quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct sample testing and prepare detailed reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Work closely with the process team to identify root causes of production defects.
• Verify BOM entries and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Ensure all NCR and CFR responses are completed within 24 hours.
• Communicate effectively with customers, clients, and internal teams in English.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiar with quality inspection, root cause analysis, NCR, and corrective action processes.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
