QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field are preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, investigating quality issues, and working with different departments to ensure products meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Investigate product defects and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Handle customer complaints and prepare 8D reports when required.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify quality problems and prevent recurring defects.
• Conduct product inspections, analyse quality data, and monitor defect trends.
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and work procedures.
• Support internal and external quality audits and follow up on audit findings.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D reports.
• Knowledge of quality inspection methods, measurement tools, and statistical quality control is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
