About the Role

We’re looking for a junior-to-mid-level QA engineer with strong testing fundamentals, coding ability, and an interest in building better ways to test software.

You’ll help keep our mobile and web apps reliable through hands-on testing, automated checks, and AI-assisted QA. Alongside investigating bugs and verifying releases, you’ll build testing tools and workflows that help the team catch problems earlier and reduce repetitive manual work.

You should be methodical, curious about how software works, and comfortable digging into code and logs to understand what went wrong.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Test mobile and web. Apply QA best practices to plan coverage, explore edge cases, and run regression checks before releases.
• Build testing automation. Develop reliable automated tests and reusable tools, and integrate them into CI/CD with engineers.
• Use AI in QA. Build AI-assisted testing workflows and help evaluate our agents’ responses, actions, and permissions.
• Investigate bugs. Use logs and monitoring tools to diagnose issues, write clear bug reports, and verify fixes.
• Improve release quality. Communicate risks, maintain test coverage, and turn recurring failures into repeatable checks.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong QA fundamentals. You understand test design, exploratory testing, regression testing, and the bug lifecycle. You can decide what needs testing and when to use manual checks or automation.
• Coding and debugging ability. You can write scripts or tests in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, use Git, and inspect network requests, error messages, and logs. You have basic React Native knowledge and can read frontend code.
• Practical interest in AI-assisted QA. You’ve experimented with AI tools for coding or testing and can explain how you checked their output. You’re keen to build useful automation into your everyday workflow.
• Attention to detail and clear communication. You can isolate issues, explain them precisely, work independently on defined tasks, and flag uncertainty or blockers early.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing mobile apps on both iOS and Android.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Maestro, Appium, or Detox
• Familiarity with Sentry, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or New Relic.
• Experience testing chat apps, real-time systems, or AI agents.
• Experience building testing utilities, test data generators, or AI-driven testing workflows.
• Firsthand experience in field operations, or testing software for deskless teams.
