QA Engineer (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Comprehensive API Testing using Postman to build, maintain, ensuring backend stability and high-performance integration.
• Execute Full-Stack Testing across Web and Mobile platforms (iOS/Android) to ensure UI/UX consistency and seamless user journeys.
• Perform End-to-End Validation by tracing data flows from the Mobile/Web front-end through the API layer down to the Database.
• Identify and Debug Issues by inspecting logs, analyzing API responses, and using mobile debugging tools to pinpoint root causes.
• Collaborate in Agile Sprints with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria, provide QA estimates, and ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC.
• Manage Defect Life Cycles by reporting detailed bugs closely with Developers to verify fixes across all environments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance covering API, Web, and Mobile applications.
• Proficient in Postman Skills including scripting with environment management
• Proficient in Mobile Testing with a deep understanding of platform-specific behaviors for both iOS and Android (Manual or Automated).
• Strong Web Testing Foundation focusing on cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and DOM manipulation.
• Technical Literacy in RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL for database validation, and familiarity with mobile debugging (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, or Charles Proxy).
• Automation Mindset with experience or a strong interest in tools like Newman, Appium, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Sharp Analytical Skills with the ability to think from a user's perspective while understanding complex technical architectures.
• Excellent Communication and a proactive attitude to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
