QA Engineer (Database & EDI Testing)_Immediate

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Software QA/Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Database Testing.
• Good proficiency in SQL and ability to write queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with EDI transaction testing and validation.
• Understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT.
• Knowledge of EDI transaction mapping, validation, acknowledgments, and error handling.
• Experience with API, integration, or end-to-end testing is a plus.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with EDI platforms/tools such as Cleo, Sterling, Seeburger, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience in integration testing involving multiple systems and external trading partners.
• Familiarity with automation testing is an added advantage.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
