QA Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the full spectrum of quality assurance activities and company quality standards.
• Prepare, maintain and follow up on quality reports including 8D, IQC, MRB, NCR and CAR.
• Work closely with Production teams to investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain and suppliers on rejected materials, vendor MRB cases and corrective actions.
• Ensure quality issues and corrective actions are closed within the required timeline.
• Conduct supplier/vendor audits when required.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and maintain relevant inspection and test reports.
• Maintain Quality Management System documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Participate in internal, external, ISO and UL audits.
• Prepare quality performance reports for management review.
• Drive effective corrective and preventive actions to improve overall product and process quality.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant quality experience, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Familiarity with 8D, corrective action, supplier quality and quality problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge of UL508A, SEMI F47 or SEMI S2 will be an added advantage.
• Experience with QAD ERP will be advantageous.
• Resourceful, independent and result-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work effectively with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
