QA Engineer (Electronics / Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall Quality Assurance activities and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
• Prepare, maintain and follow up on QA reports including 8D, IQC, MRB and other quality reports.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain and suppliers on material quality issues, vendor MRB and rejected parts.
• Ensure timely closure and effective corrective actions for NCR/CAR.
• Follow up with suppliers on corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct supplier/vendor audits when required.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and ensure relevant inspection and test reports are completed.
• Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) and quality procedures in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Participate in ISO and UL audits.
• Prepare quality performance reports for management review.
• Drive quality improvement and corrective action activities to strengthen manufacturing quality.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of quality engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience in 8D, NCR/CAR, MRB, corrective action and root cause analysis.
• Experience in FAI / First Article Inspection is preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers, Production and Engineering teams.
• Knowledge of UL508A, SEMI F47 or SEMI S2 will be an added advantage.
• Experience with QAD ERP is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
