QA (FAI/CMM)

Job Responsibilities :

FAI :

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and customer requirements.

• Prepare and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.

• Develop, analyze, and record permanent solution for any problem encountered during or product or project implementation.

• Enable to drive and support project team to ensure timely implementation of First Article project prior to mass production run.

• Prepare full FAI reports package.

• Review DFM, PFMEA, process capability study, stack up tolerance study for product design and requirement.

• Generate Control Plans (CP) and conduct Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)

• Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for customer approval

• Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECN) after sample preparation.

• Review and update FAI when there are significant changes to design, process, tooling, or manufacturing location.

• Communicate with customers regarding FAI findings and documentation when required.

CMM :

• Proficient in operating CMM and manually editing CMM inspection programs to accommodate drawing, tooling, and measurement requirements.
• Operate and program CMMs to inspect manufactured parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection specifications.
• Create inspection programs using software.
• Measure dimensions, tolerances, profiles, positions, and geometric characteristics.
• Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances.

Job Requirement :

• Experience in handling of First Article, DFM, FMEA, Failure Analysis in product and troubleshooting in process improvement
• Experience in FAI and CMM Mitutoyo is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments and dimensional inspection techniques.
