QA Engineer- Mechanical/Electronics

Position: Assistant Engineer – QA

Reports To: QA Manager

Qualification

· B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 requirements will be an added advantage.

Experience

· 3–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Job Purpose

To oversee Quality assurance and QMS compliance for Antenna manufacturing activities, ensuring effective documentation, audit readiness, regulatory and customer compliance, quality monitoring, corrective action, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• QMS & AS 9100 Compliance – Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System as per applicable requirements, including AS 9100, and ensure compliance within antenna design and manufacturing activities.
• Antenna Product Inspection – Conduct in-process and final inspections of antenna assemblies, components, and related products as per approved drawings, specifications, quality plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Process & Quality Monitoring – Monitor critical quality control points during antenna manufacturing, assembly, integration, finishing, and testing to identify defects, deviations, and process issues.
• Quality Documentation & Records – Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, PCT/QCH records, test-related documents, and other QA/QMS documentation with proper traceability and revision control.
• Non-Conformity & Corrective Actions – Identify, document, and report non-conformities, defects, rejections, and process deviations, and support investigation and follow-up of corrective actions until closure.
• Testing, Calibration & Verification – Support quality-related activities associated with antenna testing and measurement equipment, including calibration monitoring, equipment verification, and maintenance of relevant records.
• Audit & Customer Coordination – Support internal, external, customer, and certification audits; communicate with customers and auditors on quality-related matters; and provide required documents, records, inspection details, and clarifications.
• Interdepartmental Coordination & Improvement – Coordinate with Design, Production, Validation, Stores, Purchase, and other departments on quality issues and support improvements to reduce defects, rejections, and recurring problems in antenna products.
• Reports & Compliance Follow-up – Ensure timely completion and submission of QA reports, inspection records, audit actions, quality documentation, and other assigned activities while maintaining continuous audit readiness.
• Travel & Other Duties – Travel as required for customer visits, site inspections, audits, testing activities, or other official quality-related requirements, and perform other QA/QMS duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
