QA Engineer | Bonus for Top Performance

Location: Singapore

Compensation: Up to S$5,000/month + up to 3 months variable bonus
Work Arrangement: 5-day work week, Monday to Friday.

BullionStar is growing quickly! We are hiring a QA engineer with hands-on experience in Software Testing. BullionStar offers a versatile environment with varying tasks in an exciting industry. Our highly technical development team is focused on refining our platform to emphasize service orientation and highly automated architecture. We embrace DevOps, automated testing, monitoring and error reporting.

The QA Engineer role will have the following responsibilities:

Quality Assurance

• Perform functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications.
• Analyse requirements and independently create test scenarios, test cases and test plans.
• Identify, investigate, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Perform regression testing for new features, bug fixes and system changes.
• Conduct API testing to validate requests, responses, status codes, data and error handling.
• Conduct performance testing, including load testing and response-time analysis.
• Use technical tools such as browser Developer Tools, logs and databases to investigate issues.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to identify risks and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Participate in release testing and provide feedback on product quality and potential risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, test coverage and overall product quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios and regression test suites.
• Hands-on experience with API testing.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing.
• Good technical understanding of web applications and software systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge.

Location

The job location is BullionStar's office at 45 New Bridge Road. This bustling location is located in between Chinatown and Clarke Quay with the Clarke Quay MRT located just across the road making commuting easy.
