QA Engineer (Precision Engineering)

• Basic up to $5,500 + Bonus
• Lead and supervise a team of QC inspectors
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

About the role

The QA Engineer is responsible for product quality inspection as per customer requirements, leading and supervising a team of QC inspectors to perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection activities. This role involves coordinating with production on quality-related issues, liaising with vendors and customers on complaints and feedback, managing non-conformance analysis and corrective/preventive action plans, maintaining QMS documentation systems, and participating in internal and external quality audits.

Key responsibilities

• Perform product quality inspection as per customer requirement
• Lead and supervise a team of QC inspectors to perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection activities
• Coordinate with production for any quality-related issues
• Liaise with vendor and customer on complaint and feedback related to quality issues
• Initiate non-conformance analysis and closure of corrective and preventive action plans
• Manage the QMS documentation system
• Participate in internal and external quality audits

Requirement

• 2-5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing environment
• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Able to work independently and as a team player
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good knowledge of QA technique, procedure, and methodology
• Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100D or other regulatory requirements is advantageous
