QA Engineer – Program Management & Quality Assurance

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Engineer to support quality assurance activities across engineering programs and software development projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and program management teams to validate system performance, identify defects, coordinate testing activities, and ensure that deliverables meet established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and quality assurance procedures.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers and program managers to establish quality objectives and testing schedules.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects until resolution.
• Monitor project milestones and testing deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate quality activities across engineering teams and project stakeholders.
• Use test management tools such as Jira to manage test cases, defects, and progress reports.
• Analyse test results and prepare quality reports for management review.
• Support automated testing initiatives and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Identify delivery risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Ensure that testing activities follow established engineering standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in software quality assurance, system testing, or engineering program support is preferred.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and test automation concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, development, and program management teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
