QA Engineer (QMS)

Job Overview:

The position will be responsible for managing specific customer accounts in terms of quality to ensure all parts are built to be fit for purpose and meet customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage internal and external audits in accordance with relevant quality standards.
• Coordinate audit preparation, follow up on corrective actions, and review action reports to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
• Review customer specifications to ensure alignment with internal processes and quality standards.
• Issue and track Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for both internal and external audit findings.
• Assist internal teams in resolving CARs and provide support to ensure timely closure.
• Monitor and follow up on CAR implementation for internal and external audits to ensure timely closure.
• Review and close audit findings in collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Complete customer checklists and questionnaires accurately and in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system framework.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a quality system or QA/QC role.
• Strong understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9000, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, QC 080000, and related quality systems.
• Proven experience in audit handling and quality documentation.
• Positive work attitude with strong communication skills across all levels.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Mandarin is considered an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
