Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and maintain robust quality systems for our photomask manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer requirements, internal specifications, and applicable quality standards through effective quality control, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, customers, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, support audits, improve process capability, and strengthen overall product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management & Assurance

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, and control plans to ensure photomask products meet customer requirements and internal specifications.

• Monitor key quality indicators, including yield, defect density, process capability, customer returns, and quality escapes.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Customer Quality Support

• Serve as the quality contact for customer quality issues and escalations.

• Lead customer complaint investigations and coordinate timely responses using structured problem-solving methodologies.

• Support customer audits, quality reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Prepare and present quality reports and corrective action plans to customers and management.

Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions

• Lead investigations for manufacturing defects, process excursions, and non-conforming products.

• Utilize quality tools like 8D, 5W, fishbone, FMEA, SPC to drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Partner with Process Engineering, Manufacturing to improve process capability.

Audit & Compliance

• Support internal, customer, and external quality audits.

• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, customer requirements, and company quality management systems.

• Ensure controlled documentations and quality records are maintained according to procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within semiconductor, photomask, wafer fabrication, or advanced manufacturing environments.

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (Preferred)

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly preferred:

• Advanced photomask manufacturing

• Semiconductor wafer fabrication

• Semiconductor quality and reliability programs
