About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and software quality standards. This position is open to Saudi Nationals only . Candidates with 1 year or more of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Al Qassim.

Responsibilities

• Review business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify potential issues and provide feedback.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing software products.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Conduct API testing and collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues.
• Write SQL queries to validate data and verify system functionality.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for web applications.
• Test mobile applications and use debugging tools to investigate issues.
• Collaborate with automation teams to expand automated test coverage.
• Monitor testing progress, report issues, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
• Saudi National.

Required Skills

• Understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, including SELECT statements and JOINs.
• Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.

• This position is based on-site in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia.
• Candidates currently residing in Al Qassim will be given preference.
• Candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate to Al Qassim are also welcome to apply.
