QA Executive

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Quality Control & Assurance

1. Conduct raw material, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
2. Monitor production processes to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
3. Perform in-process and final inspections of finished mattresses to ensure they meet standards.
4. Train QA/QC staff on quality standards and best practices.
5. Solve customer complaints related to quality and initiate root cause analysis.
6. Investigate all mattresses return, make decision to rework & to get consent from Customer Service refer to client or dealers claim/factory outlet final decision.

(B )Testing & Compliance:

1. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
2. Conduct physical and functional tests (e.g., firmness, durability, edge support, tensile) as per industry standards (ISO, ASTM etc.).

(C) Process Improvement:

1. Identify recurring defects and work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
2. Recommend improvements in manufacturing/QA processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with others department to resolve quality-related problems.

(D )Documentation & Reporting:

1. Maintain inspection reports, reject report and QA documentation
2. Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs
3. Assist in internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO13485, customer audits).
4. Review and update quality documentation such as SOPs, inspection checklists, and QC reports.

(E )Others

1. Require to back up if your colleague absent or MC or off days.
2. Ad hoc basis need to carry out task assign by HOD.
3. Ensure workplace is always in the 5S concept & clean environment. This will be include rejects area, QA lab.
4. Update attendance record, staff leaves, arrangement of OT & total summary monthly report to HR dept.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.

• Minimum 1–2 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Knowledge of quality inspection, product testing, ISO/ASTM standards, and QA procedures.

• Experience in root cause analysis, corrective actions, customer complaints, and product returns.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

• Familiar with QA documentation, quality KPI reporting, audits, and 5S practices.

• Experience in mattress/bedding manufacturing will be an added advantage.
