QA EXECUTIVE

About the role

We are looking for a QA Executive to join our Quality Assurance team in supporting and maintaining high standards of GMP, product quality, documentation and compliance within our manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on QA role suitable for someone who enjoys working with quality systems, documentation, validation, audits and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage QA documentation, including Quality Procedures (QP), Work Instructions (WI), forms, change control records, and obsolete documents.
• Prepare and analyze data for the compilation of Product Quality Review (PQR) reports.
• Manage the verification program, which includes the verification of equipment, utilities, and processes.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to obtain and analyze data for the preparation of verification protocols and reports.
• Update and maintain calibration master lists for QA and Production equipment.
• Coordinate external calibrations according to schedule and ensure certificates are filed correctly.
• Manage the procurement of new or replacement measuring equipment as necessary.
• Oversee pest control agreements, updated layouts, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Monitor chemical cleaning master lists, cleaning chemical SDS, and dispenser preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate item write-offs and manage disposal arrangements through Kualiti Alam in collaboration with the warehouse.
• Conduct routine GMP spot-checks and personal hygiene checks across production areas.
• Serve as an internal auditor for GMP, ISO, and Halal audits.
• Execute additional tasks and duties as directed by management.

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, Quality Management or related field.
• Preferably 2 years or more of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in GMP and validation, particularly IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Experience in BMR, PQR, document control, calibration and internal auditing will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO and Halal requirements is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to work independently.
