QA Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspection and testing of incoming product according to quality control plan and WI.
• Perform first article inspection.
• Perform in-process and pouch seal inspection according to quality control plan and WI.
• Review of raw material certificates provided vs product specification provided by suppliers (COC/COA).
• Provide assistance in the overall implementation and administration of Company policies and procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate records of inspection integrity and calibration results.
• Communicate with related personnel to ensure product and customer requirements are continually met.
• Clearly document non-conformities and communicate issues to related personals.
• Assist with the Material Review Board process for the disposition of material, parts and finished product.
• Perform incoming, In process and outgoing inspections.
• Scrap of nonconforming product and scrap report generation.
• Control non-conforming material, parts, and product in accordance with documented procedure.
• Assist with the development of inspection requirements and techniques.
• Conduct inspections using calipers, digital micrometers, gauge block, peel force tester Machine, AM scope, Keyence LM machine, glossiness tester (Glossmeter), surface roughness tester, OGP Smartscope and penetration tester.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret inspection data from outside sources.
• Implement process controls by promoting and following all safety and quality system procedures as well as Company policies.
• Any other duties or responsibilities required or assigned by the Quality Supervisor.
• Adherence to the ISO 13485 requirements is effectively carried out.
• Ensure that the implementation of the ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements is effectively carried out.
• To promote and develop a high level of Health, Safety, and Environmental awareness and commitment.
• Ensure the EHS requirements of the workplace are met.
• Adhere to Safety and health rules and safe systems of work.
• Wearing Personal Protection Equipment.
• To assist in development of safety and health rules and safe systems of work.
• To review the effectiveness of safety and health programmes.
• To promote and develop a high level of Health, Safety, and Environmental awareness and commitment to all personnel.
• To provide technical / advisory support for Health, Safety, and Environmental program
• To participate in reviews and audits and report findings
• To analyse accident trends, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease at the work place
• To report to the employer of any unsafe or unhealthy condition or practices at the place of work together with recommendations for corrective actions
• To review the Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at the place of work and make recommendations to the employer for any revision of such policies
• To review with Management Representative in conducting any competition, talks and activities to promote a safe
• conduct of work.
• To inspect the place of work at least once (1) in 3 months
• To assists all the Management Representative in inspecting the workplace as soon as it is safe to do so, after any accident, near miss occurrence, dangerous occurrences, which has occurred.
• To assist the Management Representative in assessing the Health, Safety, & Environmental consequence of any proposed changes in the processes or methods.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

• SPM or equivalent. Fresh graduate diploma is encourage to apply
• Minimum 1 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Self-starter able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Near vision: ability to see very fine imperfections and surface flaws in products.
• Good math skills; adding/subtracting, whole numbers/fractions, decimals, etc.)
• Blueprint reading (geometric dimension & tolerance skills).
• Able to read and understand Work Instructions.
