QA Inspector

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct inspection and monitoring of raw materials, in-process products, finished products, and packaging materials.
• Perform quality checks based on established specifications, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
• Conduct sampling and inspection of products and materials.
• Record and document inspection results accurately.
• Identify and report quality deviations, non-conformities, and potential food safety concerns.
• Coordinate with Production and other concerned departments regarding quality issues.
• Assist in investigating product/process non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor proper handling, storage, and disposition of rejected or non-conforming materials/products.
• Ensure proper completion and filing of QA inspection records and reports.
• Participate in internal audits, quality improvement activities, and other QA programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and food safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Biology, BS Microbiology, or other related courses.
• Preferably with experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, particularly in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO, and other food safety/quality standards is an advantage.
• Knowledge in basic laboratory testing and quality inspection is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
• Willing to work in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
