Key Responsibilities

Daily:

• Participate in evaluating and updating laboratory quality systems, test methods, calibration, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Operate analytical equipment (GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, and other lab apparatus) ensuring proper operating conditions.
• Prepare and standardize reagents as needed.
• Verify test result validity prior to release or re-testing.
• Identify non-conformances in finished goods and report them to the QA Chemist and Supervisor.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and problem-solving for non-conforming tests.
• Support team members through performance evaluation, coaching, and development analysis.
• Implement strict safety, proficiency testing, and housekeeping protocols.
• Track inventory for lab consumables, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain complete and accurate records (hard copy and digital).

Periodic:

• Conduct periodic re-inspections of stored warehouse materials to confirm specifications remain within limits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Chemical Technician (Required).
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong technical background in chemical analysis and laboratory instruments.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills (verbal and written).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php24,000.00 - Php26,000.00 per month
