QA Lead – Automation

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Lead – Automation to lead test automation initiatives for B2B enterprise software products. The role will focus on building scalable automation frameworks, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, improving test coverage, and reducing manual testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Develop automated tests for functional, regression, API, and integration testing.
• Work with Python or Java and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API and SQL-based data validation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing.
• Lead and mentor a QA team, including task allocation, technical guidance, code reviews, and performance development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA/Software Testing experience with strong automation experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing, SQL, and CI/CD.
• 2–3 years of experience leading/managing QA engineers or an automation team.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design and QA best practices.
• Experience in B2B enterprise software / SaaS environments.
