QA Lead

Work Set Up: Hybrid set up 2x onsite per week in BGC | Dayshift | Mon-Friday

Qualifications: at least 5 years relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements, including requirements, process flows, technical designs, APIs, system integrations, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Design test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and coverage to ensure comprehensive validation of business and technical requirements.
• Perform API, integration, end-to-end, and functional testing across complex systems and environments.
• Conduct deep defect investigation and root cause analysis using logs, traces, network traffic, configurations, test data, and production evidence.
• Identify hidden risks, cross-system impacts, integration issues, probable failure points, and unintended downstream effects that may not be evident from documented requirements.
• Produce reusable test assets, test documentation, release evidence, and quality reports to support informed release decisions.
• Communicate quality insights, findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving issues through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, QA, and other stakeholders while independently owning test analysis, quality assessment, and decision-making.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted tools to improve test analysis, asset creation, and testing efficiency while ensuring traceability, security, privacy, compliance, and governance standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Strong technical QA background
• Can independently analyze requirements and create test strategies
• Able to define test criteria, test scenarios, and coverage without relying on Developers, Scrum Masters, or other engineers
• Can provide actionable recommendations and quality insights
• Understands system integrations, APIs, risks, and business impacts
• Investigates defects deeply using logs, traces, and technical analysis
• Works closely with Product, Development, and stakeholders but does not need hand-holding
• Confident challenging requirements, assumptions, and proposed solutions when risks are identified

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
