Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented QA Lead to lead our quality assurance team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium automation, API testing, and regression testing, along with exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.

The candidate will be responsible for developing test strategies, managing automation frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and driving continuous improvement in software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team in planning, designing, executing, and managing test activities.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks.
• Perform API testing, including functional, integration, and negative testing.
• Plan and execute regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage, automate test creation, and optimize test execution.
• Identify, track, analyze, and report defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Review test cases, automation scripts, test plans, and test execution reports.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Monitor testing metrics, identify quality risks, and drive process improvements.
• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Hands-on expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience in regression testing and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and AI-driven test automation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered test case generation, self-healing automation, or intelligent test execution.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experience with database testing and SQL.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve test automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
