QA lead (playwrite with javascript/appium/wendriverIO mandatory experience)

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a QA Lead with mandatory experience in Playwright with JavaScript, Appium, and WebdriverIO. The QA Lead will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality releases. Responsibilities include planning and executing test strategies, coordinating regression and integration testing, and collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve defects and improve test coverage. The QA Lead will mentor QA team members, promote best practices in test automation, and contribute to continuous improvement of tooling, processes, and documentation. The role also involves analyzing test results, reporting QA metrics, and ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Playwriting and Scriptwriting, with the ability to structure clear, logical, and detailed test scenarios and documentation.
• Candidates should possess experience related to Plays and Drama, including understanding complex narratives and workflows that can translate into comprehensive test cases.
• Candidates should possess skills in Dramaturgy, applying analytical thinking to evaluate user journeys, identify edge cases, and refine test coverage.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript), Appium, and WebdriverIO for building and maintaining robust automated test suites.
• Solid background in software QA methodologies, test planning, regression testing, and integration testing for web and mobile applications.
• Experience leading QA teams or initiatives, including mentoring, workload planning, and promoting automation and quality best practices.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git) and familiarity with defect tracking and test management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
