QA Manager

About the role

Responsible for leading QA and QC functions, ensuring quality compliance, managing quality performance, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions.
• Develop and implement quality strategies to achieve company quality objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Lead customer complaints, NCR, CAPA, and root cause analysis activities.
• Monitor quality KPIs, including rejection rate, scrap cost, customer complaints, and corrective actions (8D).
• Conduct internal quality reviews and support external customer and certification audits.
• Lead and develop the quality team through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve manufacturing capability.
• Report quality performance and improvement plans to management.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of quality management experience in plastic injection molding/precision machining/or any other related manufacturing field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO13485, SPC, FMEA, 8D, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing QA/QC functions and leading quality improvement initiatives.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
