QA Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage overall Quality Assurance activities for plastic injection moulding operations.
• Handle direct Tier-1 customer coordination for quality-related matters.
• Manage customer complaints, warranty issues and 8D/CAPA activities.
• Coordinate with customers for PPAP, DR and quality documentation requirements.
• Plan and conduct customer audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Conduct manufacturing process audits, product audits and layout inspections.
• Monitor rejection, rework, PPM and customer quality performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action for quality issues.
• Ensure implementation and effectiveness of CAPA across production processes.
• Monitor in-process and final inspection activities and ensure product conformity.
• Coordinate with Production, Development, Tool Room and Maintenance for quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements and internal quality procedures.
• Review and improve Control Plan, PFMEA, Work Instructions and inspection standards.
• Lead and develop the QA/QC team, including training and performance monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction and customer satisfaction through systematic quality initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in directly handling Tier-1 automotive customers will be preferred.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding / automotive components.
• Strong knowledge of PPAP, 8D, CAPA, customer complaints, process audits and product audits.
• Bajaj Auto / Tier-1 vendor experience will be an added advantage.
