QA Manager

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven QA Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives across our products and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, quality management, and team leadership, with a strong ability to establish QA strategies, improve testing processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation, defect management, and quality metrics, along with proven experience managing QA teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA activities across multiple products and service-based projects.
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, testing standards, and quality processes.
• Oversee manual and automated testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure testing effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor QA engineers, automation engineers, and testing leads.
• Collaborate with development, product management, business analysis, and project management teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive test automation initiatives to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Oversee defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution processes.
• Ensure appropriate test planning, test case development, execution, and documentation.
• Identify risks and implement preventive measures to minimize production defects.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, release criteria, and delivery timelines.
• Provide regular updates on QA progress, risks, and quality metrics to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in a QA Manager or equivalent QA leadership role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience managing QA for both product development and IT services environments.
• Good understanding of manual testing and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing QA teams across multiple projects or product lines.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing into development workflows.
• Knowledge of performance, API, integration, and security testing.
• Experience establishing QA standards, processes, and quality metrics across teams.
• Experience working with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
