QA Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable quality standards.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Quality Control & Assurance
• Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product inspection.
• Establish and monitor quality objectives, KPIs, and performance indicators.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Customer Quality Management
• Handle customer complaints, quality claims, and non-conformance issues.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, production, and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Team Leadership
• Lead, supervise, and develop the QA/QC team.
• Provide training on quality procedures, standards, and inspection methods.
• Allocate resources and ensure the team meets quality targets.
• Continuous Improvement
• Drive initiatives to reduce defect rates, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
• Implement quality improvement tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP where applicable.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Supplier Quality Management
• Monitor supplier quality performance and address supplier-related quality issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and coordinate supplier corrective actions.
• Ensure incoming materials and components meet established specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare quality reports, audit reports, and management review presentations.
• Monitor quality KPIs and report performance trends to senior management.
• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure proper document control.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; experience with IATF 16949 is an advantage, particularly in automotive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
