Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead testing and quality assurance initiatives across large-scale data and technology programs. This role will be responsible for defining QA strategies, overseeing test execution, ensuring data quality, and driving automation adoption across multiple systems and platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in data testing, ETL validation, automation frameworks, and stakeholder management, with experience leading QA teams in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and governance across projects.
• Lead and manage QA teams responsible for functional, integration, data, and automation testing activities.
• Oversee testing of ETL pipelines, data migration initiatives, and system integrations.
• Ensure validation of source-to-target mappings, business rules, data transformations, and reconciliation processes.
• Establish test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting processes.
• Drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency, coverage, and quality.
• Monitor test progress, risks, and quality metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with business users, project managers, developers, data engineers, and solution architects.
• Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, governance requirements, and audit controls.
• Lead root cause analysis for major defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Agile delivery teams by integrating quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Data Testing, or Test Management.
• Proven experience managing QA teams and large-scale testing initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test management, and defect lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on understanding of ETL testing, data validation, and data reconciliation techniques.
• Strong SQL skills for data verification and analysis.
• Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working with ETL technologies such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automation best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP, BigQuery, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of API testing and integration validation.
• Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or other large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or PI-based delivery models.
• Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar project and defect management tools.
• Relevant certifications in QA, testing, Agile, or project management are advantageous.
