QA Manager (Precision Machining)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure products and services meet internal standards, customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the company's representative for Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
• Coordinate activities to maintain compliance with quality and environmental standards.
• Monitor Quality and Environmental Management System performance and prepare reports and statistical data.
• Work closely with management and different departments to ensure quality and environmental systems are properly implemented.
• Provide guidance, training, tools and techniques to improve quality performance.
• Develop and maintain quality and environmental procedures, standards and specifications.
• Review customer requirements and ensure compliance.
• Work with Purchasing to establish quality requirements for external suppliers.
• Monitor quality performance and prepare statistical reports.
• Lead and supervise the Quality Department team to achieve quality and environmental objectives.
• Act as the Scheduled Waste Competent Person and oversee scheduled waste management, regulatory compliance and reporting to top management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in precision machining and/or precision sheet metal manufacturing.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of SPC, 7 QC Tools, FMEA, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Good computer skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
