Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software testing to join our team in Udaipur.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, web application testing, API testing, database testing, and defect management. The candidate will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, system, and UAT testing.
• Test web applications across different browsers and devices.
• Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Perform end-to-end testing of application workflows.
• Conduct UI/UX and cross-browser testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Perform basic SQL/database testing and data validation.
• Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
• Validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect records.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide QA inputs during development.
• Support release testing and provide feedback on application quality.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing/QA.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
• Experience in testing web applications and responsive interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of test case and test scenario creation.
• Good understanding of defect life cycle.
• Experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of cross-browser and compatibility testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Selenium or automation testing.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and browser Developer Tools.
• Experience with mobile/responsive testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, ERP, CRM, or other web-based applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Manual QA/Software Testing.
