Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective document control system to ensure proper management, traceability, and retention of internal and external quality documents and records.
• Provide quality and regulatory support to the Sales and Customer Service teams by preparing product specifications, laboratory test reports, declarations, and other relevant documentation in accordance with customer requirements, overseas regulatory requirements, and food safety management system standards.
• Ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), including ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, VHM, and Halal certification requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct product shelf-life verification and validation studies to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance throughout the intended shelf life.
• Support and coordinate external certification audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits, including audit preparation, documentation, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Review packaging labels and artwork to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and company standards, and participate in the final artwork approval process.
• Investigate customer complaints, product non-conformances, and quality-related issues, working with relevant departments to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct quality and food safety training for production personnel to ensure understanding and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety requirements.
• Monitor product quality performance, troubleshoot quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree/ Post Graduate/ Diploma in Food technology/Food Science or equivalent field.
• Knowledge in ISO22000, HACCP, HALAL etc food safety standards and practices would be added advantage.
• Required language: English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer skills and knowledge in MS Office.
• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Basic management knowledge and able to work under tight deadlines.
