Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior QA Support Engineer with strong experience in OpenWiFi/OpenWrt, enterprise Wi-Fi validation, and networking technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in enterprise wireless testing, networking protocols, Linux debugging, and test automation using Python or Shell scripting. The role involves validating enterprise Wi-Fi firmware, performing interoperability and performance testing, troubleshooting complex networking issues, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead validation activities for enterprise Wi-Fi firmware releases.
• Validate enterprise wireless features including:
• WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise
• Captive Portal
• VLAN Segmentation
• Multi-SSID
• RADIUS/AAA
• Mesh/EasyMesh
• Enterprise Roaming
• QoS and Traffic Shaping
• Perform end-to-end Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking validation.
• Conduct functional, regression, interoperability, stress, scalability, and performance testing.
• Analyze networking and wireless issues using packet captures and system logs.
• Perform debugging using Wireshark, tcpdump, and Linux tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
• Work closely with development teams for issue reproduction, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and support release validation activities.
• Participate in customer certification and enterprise release testing.
