QA/ Operation Halal Executive

About the role

Bean n Joy Enterprise is seeking a dedicated QA/Operation Halal Executive to join our quality assurance and operations team. This is a full-time position based in Klang, Selangor. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and operations meet the highest standards of quality and halal certification requirements. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our commitment to product excellence and regulatory compliance, directly contributing to the success and reputation of our organisation within the manufacturing and logistics sector.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor and ensure compliance with halal certification standards and requirements across all production processes
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of products, materials, and operational procedures
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and documentation systems
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformances
• Maintain detailed records of quality testing, inspections, and halal certifications
• Liaise with relevant halal certification bodies and regulatory authorities
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and halal compliance protocols
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality
• Prepare reports on quality metrics, compliance status, and operational performance

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of halal certification standards and requirements (MS 1500:2009 or equivalent)
• Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or operations within the manufacturing or food production industry
• Strong understanding of HACCP and best practices in quality management
• Proficiency in using quality management systems and data analysis tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia and English is advantageous
• Certificate or accreditation in halal auditing or certification is preferred
