We are currently looking for both Mid-Level and Senior Test Automation Engineers to join a dynamic project in the railway sector, contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions through automation, CI/CD best practices, and modern testing technologies.

About the Project: Join a large-scale international project within the railway industry, working alongside multidisciplinary teams focused on innovation, software quality, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications, APIs, and integration flows.
• Create and execute automated tests using Playwright and other relevant testing frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to define test strategies and test scenarios.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of automated test suites.
• Perform API and integration testing to validate functionality, performance, and communication between systems.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous quality practices.
• Monitor test execution results, analyze failures, and identify root causes.
• Contribute to quality assurance best practices and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Test Automation and software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium and Robot Framework.
• Experience with API testing and integration testing.
• Experience working with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Location: Paço de Arcos, Lisbon (Hybrid Model - 1 day per week in the office).
