QA/ QC Electrical Engineer

About the role

Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join our growing team on a full-time basis in Tuy, Batangas. This is a critical position within our Quality Assurance and Control department, where you will play an essential role in ensuring that all electrical installations and systems meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. As a key member of our construction quality team, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and validating electrical work across our projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role is fundamental to protecting our reputation for excellence and maintaining the trust of our clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of electrical installations, equipment, and systems throughout all project phases
• Verify that all electrical work complies with design drawings, technical specifications, and relevant electrical codes and standards
• Perform quality control tests on electrical components, materials, and finished work, documenting results and maintaining detailed records
• Identify, document, and report any defects, non-conformances, or deviations from project requirements
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Review and approve electrical work before sign-off, ensuring all work meets established quality benchmarks
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, inspection checklists, and test reports for project records and compliance purposes
• Participate in site meetings and provide quality assurance updates to project stakeholders
• Ensure all electrical installations meet health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends in defects and recommending preventative measures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence or equivalent electrical engineering qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical quality assurance and control within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to construction projects
• Proficiency in electrical testing equipment, measurement instruments, and quality control methodologies
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, distribution networks, and installation practices
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset to identify quality issues and non-conformances
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within established quality frameworks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software systems
• Physical capability to conduct site inspections and work in construction environments
• Preferred experience with renewable energy or energy technology projects
