QA QC Engineer

• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and site representatives regarding quality inspections and project quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and O&M Manuals.
• Ensure all project quality documentation is properly maintained and updated.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved quality plans, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review and approve subcontractors’ Quality Plans and Method Statements.
• Verify test reports, materials, and specifications for compliance with contractual requirements.
• Conduct regular quality inspections at various stages of project execution.
• Carry out inspections in accordance with approved checklists, ITPs, Method Statements, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) with relevant site representatives.
• Conduct snagging inspections and ensure timely closure of all identified quality issues before project handover.
• Raise Observations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on quality issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain inspection, testing, and quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, quality reports, registers, and other required documentation.
• Maintain QA/QC records including certificates, calibration records, test results, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, observations, and site instructions.
• Support the project team in maintaining high standards of quality and compliance throughout project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, fit-out, or related project environments.
• Mandatory: UAE experience in Fit-Out projects.
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, and NCRs.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented approach.
