QA - QC Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable safety requirements. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintaining quality documentation, identifying defects, and ensuring that construction work meets the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect ongoing civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections for RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ensure that all materials used at the site meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Verify material test certificates and coordinate for concrete cube tests, slump tests, and other relevant quality tests.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection reports, and quality records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and consultants for quality inspections and approvals.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their closure.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures at all project stages.
• Review construction drawings and technical specifications to identify potential quality issues.
• Conduct regular site audits and ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Maintain records of material testing, site inspections, and quality-related documentation.

Ensure that rework and defective construction activities are minimized through effective quality monitoring.
