QA /QC Engineer

1. Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and plans for the project.
2. Perform regular site inspections to ensure that construction activities comply with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor and verify the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications.
4. Prepare and implement quality control plans, ensuring that all aspects of construction are inspected and tested.
5. Conduct inspections of materials and equipment delivered to the site and reject substandard materials.
6. Review and verify construction drawings and specifications to ensure proper understanding and implementation of quality requirements.
7. Conduct material and product testing as required by the project specifications.
8. Provide technical support and advice to project teams on quality control and assurance processes.
9. Review contractor and subcontractor performance and quality control procedures.
10. Coordinate and supervise non-destructive testing (NDT), inspections, and audits.
11. Develop and maintain quality records and documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
12. Report any quality-related issues, incidents, or deviations to the project management team and suggest corrective actions.
13. Conduct root cause analysis for any non-conformance or quality issues and recommend corrective measures.
14. Participate in internal and external audits, including audits by regulatory authorities or certification bodies.
15. Provide training to staff and contractors regarding quality standards and procedures.
16. Monitor and track quality performance metrics and report them regularly to the Quality Manager and project management team.
17. Ensure that all corrective actions and quality improvements are implemented on-site.
18. Review and approve project quality documentation, such as method statements, quality checklists, and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
19. Participate in project meetings to review quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineering Degree Minimum ,IMS Lead auditor / Internal auditor certification added advantage

• 7+ years of relevant experience
