QA /QC Lab Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA / QC Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our products through meticulous laboratory testing and analysis. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced laboratory techniques and instruments
• Perform microbiological testing to ensure product safety and compliance with industry standards
• Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, including test results, observations, and procedures in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)
• Execute molecular biology techniques such as PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and other genetic analyses to support research projects
• Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments regularly to ensure optimal performance and reliable results
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, sterile techniques, and regulatory guidelines including FDA regulations
• Assist in research setting experiments related to animal physiology, histology, cell culture, or microbiology as needed for product development or validation purposes

Skills

• Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and laboratory compliance standards
• Proficiency in microbiology, molecular biology techniques, histology, cell culture, and sterile laboratory procedures
• Experience with laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, and incubators
• Excellent record keeping skills with familiarity in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar data management tools
• Ability to analyze data accurately using math skills and interpret scientific results effectively
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices including chemical handling safety procedures and sterile techniques
• Skilled in laboratory research methods within clinical or industrial laboratories with a focus on quality control processes
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications for report writing, data collection, and documentation purposes
• Experience working within research & development environments involving microbiology, molecular biology techniques, or histology

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
