QA / QC Project Lead

QA/QC Project Lead | £75,000 - £90,000 | North East | Civil Engineering | Permanent

We are working with a highly respected civil engineering and construction contractor looking to appoint an experienced QA/QC Project Lead to support the delivery of major data centre projects in the North East.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with a strong reputation for delivering complex construction packages, taking a leading role in maintaining quality standards across technically demanding civil engineering and reinforced concrete works.

With data centres continuing to represent one of the most exciting and fast-moving sectors in construction, this role offers the chance to work on significant projects, influence quality processes and become an integral part of an experienced project delivery team.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing and implementing QA/QC procedures, working closely with construction teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure the highest standards of project delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing quality management systems, ITPs and inspection procedures.
• Conducting site inspections, audits and quality assessments.
• Managing quality documentation, reporting and compliance records.
• Identifying and resolving quality issues alongside project delivery teams.
• Driving continuous improvement across civil engineering and concrete works.

We are looking for someone with:

• At least 7 years' QA/QC experience within civil engineering, concrete or structural construction.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ITPs and construction standards.
• Experience working on complex, fast-paced construction projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients and site teams.
• Relevant construction or civil engineering qualifications.

Experience within data centres or mission-critical environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
