Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Java + Selenium Banking Domain)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium , along with experience in the banking domain . The candidate will be responsible for building automation frameworks, ensuring application quality, and supporting end-to-end testing of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks (Hybrid/Data-driven/BDD)
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Validate banking applications including payments, transactions, and core banking systems
• Develop and execute API test cases (REST/SOAP)
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, BA, and business teams for requirement clarity
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java programming
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in test frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)
• Good understanding of banking domain (Retail/Corporate/Payments)
• Experience in API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC

Good to Have:

• Experience in BDD framework (Cucumber)
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter)
• Knowledge of automation using Playwright
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications in QA / Automation / Banking domain are a plus
