QA SPECIALIST (MEXICO, PAMPANGA)

The QA supports process and product quality testing by preparing equipment and materials, assists in tests to identify processes and products that do not meet food safety and manufacturing standards, conducts laboratory tests to identify if food safety and hygiene standards are followed. Perform laboratory testing, record laboratory data, help prepare the audits of the laboratory, systematic in checking materials and would need to verify protocols before commencing on testing procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in inspecting laboratory equipment and utilities.
• Assist in monitoring manufacturing processes, according to validation plans and schedules
• Conduct daily in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines.
• Document and report sampling conditions, testing activities and results.
• Inspect in-coming and out-going products according to shipping policies.
• Maintain accuracy of QC data and records.
• Perform tests on finished products and ensure they follow food safety and other requirements.
• Prepare samples, standards, and solutions.
• Review and verify supplier raw material records and results.
• Support investigations into hygiene standards and non-compliance to quality standards.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
• Practical experience in quality control, manufacturing processes, or related industries is highly valued.
• Ability to identify and address even subtle defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Familiarity with quality management software, statistical software, and other relevant tools.
• Ability to create and maintain quality documentation, such as inspection reports, procedures, and records.
• Ability to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective solutions.
• Computer literacy
• Ability to closely follow quality standards
• Ability to consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections
