QA TECHNICIAN

About the role

Develop, maintain and generate CMM programs for use in inspection and verification of production materials for incoming, outgoing, FAI and in-process parts. Work closely with the QA team to measure, examine and test produced units to identify defects and non-conformance to specification. Manage and maintain CMM machine to ensure functionality and meeting production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and generate CMM programs for use in inspection, verification of production materials for incoming, outgoing, FAI and in-process parts
• Work closely with the QA team to measure, examine and test produced units to identify defects and non-conformance to specification
• Manage and maintain CMM machine to ensure functionality and meeting production needs
• Ensure all measurement programs are backed up in external drive on weekly/monthly basis
• Prepare and submit required quality reports, certifications, or documentation to ensure clear identification of product inspection status

About you

• Minimum 2 years' experience in CMM Programming
• Good knowledge of measurement equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), smart scope, caliper, height gauge
• Knowledgeable in CMM Programming for production parts
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
