QA Technician

Orthocell is a dynamic regenerative medicine company developing innovative medical device and cell therapy products that restore patient mobility, function and performance. We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic Technician to join our QA team.

The Role:

Initially reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager this role will be responsible for:

• Routine visual inspection of finished products

• Preparation of labels and documents for production use

• Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment

• Routine inspection of incoming materials

• Packing and dispatch of biological samples and finished products

• Preparation of records and reports

Skills and experience of the successful candidate will include:

Essential

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in a busy environment

• Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and sound communication skills

• Willingness to take on tasks needed to support the organisation and a “can-do” attitude

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

• Full working rights in Australia

Desirable

• Previous experience working in a medically oriented laboratory

• Understanding of therapeutic goods manufacture and relevant regulatory guidelines (ISO, PIC/s, TGA, FDA)
