QA Technician

Join a global team in a role focused on ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance within the protein and salt manufacturing sector. Responsibilities Include

• Monitoring USDA-FSIS activities and plant compliance with food safety standards
• Preparing carcasses and products for inspection using approved techniques
• Conducting food safety and quality checks throughout production processes
• Documenting inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions accurately
• Performing sanitation verifications and supporting regulatory activities
• Working in a fast-paced environment, often in cold or warm conditions, with physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Adhering to safety, food safety, and regulatory policies
• Participating in overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Include

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Minimum age of 18, with proficiency in English
• Basic math skills and knowledge of safe food handling practices
• Ability to safely use knives, hooks, and other tools
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Skills

• Experience in beef or protein processing and knife handling
• Background in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to learn and apply technical food safety procedures
• Recent work history
